Vibration Meter Calibration

A vibration calibrator generates a precisely known acceleration at a fixed frequency. Because acceleration, velocity and displacement are mathematically related at any given frequency, that single reference point can be converted directly into the equivalent velocity and displacement values — which is exactly why a multi-parameter meter's one-key switching between acceleration, velocity and displacement can be verified with one calibration check, not three separate ones.

Small accelerometers used for machine and hand-transmitted vibration mount directly onto the calibrator platform with an M5 bolt or a magnetic mount. Larger sensors used for environmental vibration measurement sit directly on the platform without any mounting hardware at all.
