Product Description
The AWA14435-S14E is a Cartridge comprising a free-field measurement microphone and a preamplifier, specifically designed for free-field acoustic measurement applications. Supplied with an individual calibration certificate, it is suitable for acoustic environments that are either reflection-free or characterized by sound waves incident from specific directions (such as anechoic or semi-anechoic chambers). Featuring a high-precision capacitive microphone, the Cartridge offers a wide frequency range (typically 5 Hz to 20 kHz), a compact size, and excellent stability. It is compatible with mainstream acoustic analysis instruments and is widely used in fields such as noise source localization, acoustic performance testing of equipment, and architectural acoustics assessment.

Applications of Free-Field High-Sound-Pressure Microphone Set
Free-field high-sound-pressure microphone cartridges feature a wide frequency response range and a high dynamic upper limit, making them suitable for various measurement scenarios. Designed specifically for anechoic or echo-free environments, these cartridges are widely used in fields such as acoustic research, noise monitoring, and sound system testing.
Compatibility
The AWA14435-S14E measurement microphone cartridge requires an external constant-current power supply module capable of providing a current of 2 mA to 20 mA and an open-circuit voltage of 24 V. Different manufacturers may use various terms for such power supply modules and their powering modes, such as IEPE (Integrated Electronics Piezo-Electric), ICP (Integrated Circuit Piezoelectric), CCP (Constant Current Power), or CCLD (Constant Current Line Drive).
TEDS Measurement Microphone Set
This set supports TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) and is programmed in accordance with the IEEE 1451.4 standard (V1.0 format). It is compatible with smart sensor technology, facilitating the integration and automated management of sensor information.
Calibration
Each measurement microphone set is calibrated using traceable equipment prior to shipment and comes with a calibration certificate. Annual recalibration is recommended.
